Another year is coming to an end, and it’s time to take a look back at the dramas that aired on various networks in 2021. It’s always a lot of fun shortlisting dramas for our annual lists because there are so many good dramas that don’t get the attention they deserve on our website due to the limited number of reviews that may be published. Making a well-considered list of the finest Pakistani dramas is also our way of recognizing the efforts of those writers, directors, producers, and performers who think beyond the box and manage to delight the audience.

Hum, in particular, was keen to experiment with diverse issues, making 2021 an exciting year for drama makers as well as drama fans. A few relevant and compelling dramas were also broadcast on ARY Digital. However, for this list, we only intended to include the best dramas. Despite certain flaws, these dramas did a good job for the most part. We all know there is no such thing as a “perfect” drama, so we had some issues with a few of these, but generally, they suited the bill and were the best of the many diverse plays that aired in 2021.
