Samina Ahmad and Manzar Sehbai are a cute pair who tied the knot in 2020. Soon after the two announced their wedding, fans flocked to the news of their romance. Both are household names in the media sector and require no introduction.
The lovely pair recently appeared on BBC Urdu, where they discussed their wedding in detail. “We were at our houses in Covid. People might have been married because of Covid. Yeah, the situations were harsh at the time and our wedding was good news. It was a matter of shock for others when they observed our wedding,” Manzar Sehbai said of their decision to marry each other. “But we didn’t do it for COVID. We didn’t think about the world or what others would think; we did it for ourselves, for us, and we went for it with simplicity; also, simplicity was observed because we didn’t get any sponsors; those who go for lavish weddings get tonnes of sponsors; you wear expensive clothes and everything, but there wasn’t any scene like that.”
Manzar said that Samina is a free person like him, after discovering that she is a free soul who has lived a life, had an experience, and has learned a lot. He was delighted to be with her; also, when you reach a certain experience, you require a companion, and if you are familiar with him or her, it is much easier to get along.
“It’s a terrific experience,” Samina Ahmed said. “You explore each other, discover new things together, accept the other person with similarities and differences. There is a depth in this connection. It’s beautiful.”
“We met on the sets of Dhoop Ki Deewar,” Samina Ahmad remarked of their first meeting.
“I asked Samina where she’d been roaming, and she responded that she’d gone outside to explore the world and learn new things,” Manzar Sehbai added, chuckling. She claimed they talked on the phone for a long time before deciding.
